Pigmentation Treatment

Our skin is the largest organ that we have, it consist of two main layers; epidermis and dermis. Epidermis is producing melanin; melanin is a dye which gives human skin a color. It is a natural response of the human skin on the ultraviolet irradiation. Malfunction of melanin production and distribution is one of the main reasons of pigmented lesions appearance.

The machine that we use to treat pigmentation in our clinic is with Laser therapy with Q-Switched Nd:YAG.

What is the main advantage? The procedure is relatively painless, do not cause injury, and no down time. Immediately after treatment you can do daily activities as usual.

When will results be visible? It depends on the problems; in some case need more than once therapy with interval 4-8 weeks.

Tattoo Removal

The target color of tattoo that we can remove is color black, red and yellow. The treatment you need to repeat more than 1 time. Laser therapy with Q-Switched Nd:YAG. This laser system will form a high-energy in a very short time. The laser beam penetrates into skin tissue with optimum strength and high speed into the treated area. The main target is pigment, because different colour of pigment absorbs the different laser wavelength, furthermore, black pigment and hemoglobin strongly absorbs the light of 1064nm and 532 nm, that make other tissues of the body suffer no side effects. The laser will break the target in to small particles and will be flushed out by the immune system

Melasma

Melasma: is a pigmentation disorder often appeared at Asians and darker Caucasians in form of brown or dark brown spots on the face or forearms. It appears due to hormone dis-balance causing melanocytes to produce excessive melanin as a reaction to sun exposure.

Solar Lentigenes

Solar Lentigines: There are flat pigmented 1-3 cm lesions present mainly on sun exposed areas. They start to appear in the third decade of life.

Freckles

Freckles: These are small, flat round lesions, which occur in the lighter skin types. They tend to turn darker in summer and lighter in winter. Causative factors are genetics and sun exposure.
